Dear Friends,
It is such a joy to have the opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas this year! This is the most exciting and wonderful time of the year, especially for believers. I know there is always the temptation to be overwhelmed with obligations during this season, but always try to remember who we are celebrating and keep Jesus your focus.
I pray that this year has been the year of fulfillment or completion for you and your family. If you haven’t yet had the breakthrough that you were expecting, don’t be disheartened…the year is not over yet! And the God we serve has a great reputation of showing up right on time! I’m reminded of several things that happened in the Christmas story as told in the book of Matthew, chapters one and two. |

Joseph was no doubt ready to throw in the towel when he found out that Mary was expecting a child. But right on time, God sent an angel with a message that assured Joseph that what was happening was from God and Mary would bring forth a son, and he would call His name JESUS: for He would save His people from their sins.

The wise men were making plans to return to Herod to give him the whereabouts of the baby Jesus, but just in time God warned them in a dream that they should not return to Herod to give him that information that could have destroyed Jesus’ life.

This time in chapter two, Joseph again was at a critical point and Herod was about to find Jesus to destroy Him. But right on time, God sent an angel that appeared to Joseph in a dream that gave him the next vital step in their direction.

It looked like God was going to be too late and Herod would win. Maybe you are in a situation that reminds you of this story. Maybe the enemy is closing in on all sides and you don’t know what else to do. Maybe you have a “Herod” breathing down your neck. Be encouraged and trust the Lord that He will come through in your situation! It may be getting late, the year may be almost over, but God always shows up right on time!
This has been an exciting year and God has been right on time for me more times than I can count. He is so faithful! At the beginning of December, I had foot surgery that has kept me at home more than normal, but the Lord has taken care of me and I am doing very well. It has been a good opportunity for rest and preparation for the New Year. Please check the website for upcoming meetings that may be in your area in 2008. I would love to see you!
